Reading Challenge.
1) Register your children in the Children’s Department.
2) Read 6 or more books.
3) Earn a prize bag!
Registration starts May 27th and ends July 15th. Turn in your reading log anytime between June 30th and July 31st.

kindergarten - 8th grade
How it works: Earn a free evening (6:00pm - 8:00pm) at the water park on July 26th! Sign up to participate in this program in the Children’s Center of the Laurens County Library. This is an add-on to our summer reading program. For more information, contact the Laurens County Library!
Reading requirements by grade:
* Kindergarten - 2nd (Picture Books) : 15
* 3rd - 5th (Chapter Books) : 8-10
* 6th - 8th (Chapter Books) : 6-8
This is a collaboration between the Laurens County Library, Dublin Laurens County Recreation Authority, Dublin City Schools, and Laurens County Schools.
— Teen Summer Reading Program —
Reading Challenge.
1) Register in the Children’s Department.

3) Submit to earn a prize bag along with a raffle ticket for a chance to win more prizes!
Any rising 6th-12th grader may participate.
HOW TO EARN RAFFLE TICKETS:
Attending any “Teen” or “All Ages” library programs this summer. (Ex. Teen Art Night!)
Completing the Unearth a Story bingo sheet.
Completing the Library Scavenger Hunt.
Submitting a family-friendly short story involving dinosaurs. Unearth your creativity!
Take a picture reading with your Dino-Buddy and (with a parent’s permission) post on Social Media. Be sure to tag the Library so you get credit! Or if unable to post, come in and show us! **Dino-Buddy will be given out upon initial SRP sign-up**

Summer CHallenge
Stop by the Reference Desk to register for Summer Reading and pick up your packet.
Complete a row of 5 activities and get bingo!
Submit to earn a prize bag along with a raffle ticket for a chance to win more prizes!
HOW TO EARN RAFFLE TICKETS:
Attending any “Adult” or “All Ages” library programs.
Sharing what this year’s SRP theme, “Unearth a Story,” means to you on the provided index card. (Please note: The index card may be posted in the library and shared online. Write your name on the back of the card, if you prefer it not be shared.)
Completing the Scavenger Hunt.
Submit an entry for our “Journaling our Community History” station. (Please note: The entry may be posted in the library and shared online. Write your name on the back of the paper for privacy.)
Registration starts May 27th and ends July 15th. Turn in your bingo sheet anytime between July 1st and July 31st.
