How to Make a Comic Book!

Get an inside look at how a comic book comes to life, from the first spark of an idea to the finished printed book. Learn about the creative process behind comic storytelling, the skills used to build a career in comics, and the path from artistic interest to professional work. For aspiring creators and curious fans alike!

Meet this year’s keynote speaker: Anderson Carman

Anderson Carman is an award-winning Visual Storyteller specializing in traditional ink, watercolor, and digital illustration. He has worked with a wide variety of clients such as Coca-Cola, Walt Disney Co, Marvel, Image Comics, Penguin Random House, Hulu, and UGA Press. A SCAD: Atlanta graduate, Anderson still lives in Atlanta, GA, with his wife and three kids. He enjoys Braves baseball, listening to Broadway tunes, and playing D&D with friends.
