Johnson County Library is located in the heart of Wrightsville and is a thriving library with many supporters. We offer something for all ages and walks in life. For the children we have a nicely decorated room dedicated to both fiction and non-fiction titles. We have two computers that are loaded with games, movies and internet located in the children’s department as well as puzzles for children to enjoy. We have a children’s story hour once a month during the school year and a reading program during the summer. For teens and adults we offer a wide variety of books, movies, and magazines to enjoy and check out.
We host JTU One-Stop and the representative is available to help patrons on a first come first serve basis with job searching, resume writing, basic computer skills that pertain to job hunting or on-line school, and also make referrals to different job organizations.
We keep census records available along with a cemetery book and other items for people to work on their family genealogies.
We have 14 computers that are available for public use in the main part of the library.
We have one conference table that can be used to host small non-private meetings this is available on a first come first serve basis as well.
A language-learning resource that offers access to 60 foreign language courses and 17 English courses taught in the user's native language. GALILEO password required for access outside the library.
Salem Online provides digital access to reference materials, covering literature, history, and health. It also includes city, business, and country information.
