The Rosa M. Tarbutton Memorial library offers two weekly programs for children. On Tuesday afternoons at 5:00, a storytime for those children in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade is offered; on Fridays at 10:30, a Baby Toddle Time for children ages 5 months to 24 months is offered as an early literacy storytime. Throughout the year during holiday times special craft days are offered for Preschool through 5th grade. We have a Fall, Christmas and Spring Craft Day.
During the summer months we offer a Summer Reading Program for children Preschool through 5th grade.
Located in our children’s section are 4 computers available for children’s use. These computers contain interactive stories as well as skill-building, educational games.
