The Rosa M. Tarbutton Memorial library offers two weekly programs for children. On Tuesday afternoons at 5:00, a storytime for those children in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade is offered; on Fridays at 10:30, a Baby Toddle Time for children ages 5 months to 24 months is offered as an early literacy storytime. Check our calendar for more info about our activities. Throughout the year during holiday times special craft days are offered for Preschool through 5th grade. We have a Fall, Christmas and Spring Craft Day. During the summer months we offer a Summer Reading Program for children Preschool through 5th grade.


Located in our children’s section are 4 computers available for children’s use. These computers contain interactive stories as well as skill-building, educational games.
