Rosa McMaster Tarbutton (1899-1986) promoted library service in WashingtonCounty for many years through her work in the Transylvania Club. She was a leader in getting Wedgewood to agree to manufacture the Georgia historical plates, the proceeds of which supported the Sandersville Public Library from 1933 to 1998.
