Laurens County Library Georgia Author Series On Sept. 21, 2004, Mary Charles (a nom de plume for the husband and wife team of Mary Hadley and Charles Martin) spoke about their books, Casey's Revenge and The Reluctant Corpse.  On Oct. 19th, Tony Grooms read some of his poems on East Africa and talked about his novel Bombingham.  Coming Feb. 22, 2005 will be the Local Authors Night with Cindy Brown, who now lives in Covington; Daryl Gay of Dublin; and Jane Walker of McRae.  Lastly, Robb White will speak on Mar. 29, 2005.  He is a very funny man and usually has his audiences rolling in the aisles.  He is the brother of the author of Mama Makes Up Her Mind, Bailey White.  He is the son of the famous Robb White bearing the same name.  The writer's gene is evidently in the family.  His book is called, How To Build a Tin Canoe.  It is more about life than about building boats even though that is his profession.      Coordinating art exhibits for the authors series sponsored by the Artists' Guild are as follows:      Sept.-Oct. - Carol Porter      Nov.-Dec. - Benny Andrews, Romare Bearden, O.
