How can I use GALILEO?
Think of GALILEO as a set of search engines for magazines, journals, encyclopedias, and other authoritative information and NOT merely free Internet information.
· Find articles. Over 150 GALILEO databases include full-text articles from more than 5,000 general and scholarly journals. GALILEO provides you with access to subscription-based resources paid for by participating Georgia schools and libraries. Some databases available in Spanish.
· Find citations to articles in printed journals and other publications found at your library and in libraries throughout Georgia.
· Find documents and images on Georgia history. The Digital Library of Georgia is a source for digitized documents and images.
· Find information in online encyclopedias, directories, etc. Click the topic tab for "News/Facts/Reference."
· Find information on homework topics and recommended Web sites.
