Annie Louise Irwin Lecture Series

The lecture series began in 2003 and memorializes Annie Louise Irwin, Transylvania Club member who conceived and executed the design of the Georgia Historical Plates in 1932.
Past speakers have been:
- Janisse Ray, Winner of the Georgia "All Georgia Read the Same Book" Award for her book Ecology of a Cracker Childhood
- Dr. William Rawlings, Washington County native and author of The Lazard Legacy
- Dr. John Rosemond, noted child psychologist and nationally syndicated newspaper columnist.
